The SAMHSA Quick Start Guide is a briefer document containing a checklist for prescribing buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder, information on assessing opioid withdrawal severity and signs of precipitated withdrawal, guidance on buprenorphine dosing, and a suggested home induction protocol.
